Once you click the image button, you will be able to add a new file or select an existing image from the media gallery.

Once you have added or selected an image, click the Insert Selected button. If you're adding a new image, you'll be prompted to add alternative text for the image. After you've added the alternative text, you can save and insert your image into your content.

Alternative Text

Write meaningful text alternatives for images.  For every image, write alternative text that provides the information or function of the image – this enables visually impaired users to “see” the image using screen readers.

Remember that:

  • Purely decorative images do not require alternative text
  • Alternative text is usually not visible on the screen
